Midway, Utah: The Hiking Inn

0

The Swiss-inspired town of Midway, Utah is located in the gorgeous Heber Valley. “With the Wasatch Mountains, Heber Valley, Cascade Springs, Deer Valley, Park City, Canyons and Salt Lake City nearby, there is no shortage of outdoor recreation.” It’s proximity the mountains and several of our favorite hiking trails makes it a perfect place to stop and rejuvenate. On our recent trip through Midway, we couldn’t resist staying at “The Hiking Inn.” And it did not disappoint!

The Hiking Inn

The owner, Lynn David, is an avid hiker (who hiked Mount Kilimanjaro last year!) He offered us a delicious cheese platter at check-in, fresh cookies in the evening and a healthy, gourmet breakfast the next morning. (He treats you like royalty!)

We stayed in the Deer Valley Suite. It was spacious and elegant, and we enjoyed one of the best sleeps of our lives!

The home is full of entertainment, including a pool table, a game room with poker table, foosball table, board games, movies, books, and bocce ball, just to name a few!

The next morning, we took full advantage of the impressive on-site gym.
